SaveCantonese adds its volunteers to a data system and gives them access to their workspaces. The volunteer managers track members’ activity every week through a manual process involving Zoom and Slack.
Solution:
As a product designer, I collaborated with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to build a standalone web app with a dashboard and people page, streamlining management operations on a simple, consolidated platform. The system will:
- Automatically identify inactive volunteers
- Recommend actions like 'Follow Up,' 'Snooze,' or 'Remove'
- Write these recommendations directly into the onboarding sheet every two weeks
